This ride was designed by Tina Hopkins and revised by Gary Archer to move the start from the busy Stop & Shop Plaza to the Chariho Middle School. The revision also limits the amount of travel on busy Rte 138 as well.
As on the old ride, clever riders can utilize the ride splits in other combinations to vary their personal route length, which is why the ride retains the "Extra" in its name.
All routes lead through Shannock, an old mill town with quaint homes, millpond, waterfall and remains of a Victorian era railroad station.
